About Us

Our story

Viva Care Living was created from my passion for helping individuals live with dignity, independence, and the support they deserve. Through my experience working directly with individuals and families in the community, I saw the need for compassionate, reliable, and person-centered services. This inspired me to create an agency where every individual is treated with respect, their choices are valued, and services are tailored to their unique needs.

Our mission

Viva Care Living supports individuals who need assistance to live safely and independently at home and in their communities. Through compassionate, person-centered care and support services, we help each individual maintain their independence, achieve personal goals, access community resources, and improve their overall quality of life.

Jessica Mateo Johonson, Founder & CEO

Jessica Mateo Johonson brings over 10 years of experience in healthcare, human services, and community-based support. She holds an Associate degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management.
Her professional background includes supporting individuals with diverse needs, coordinating care and services, and helping individuals maintain independence in their homes and communities. Her education, leadership experience, and commitment to compassionate, person-centered care provide the foundation for Viva Care Living’s PCA, HHA, Transition Assistance (TA), ISCH/ICA, Nursing, and other home and community-based services.
